That is probably why he believes that Luna has always been a girl. As for being an oddly featured human, the most obvious thing would be the ears. But spooks has pointed ears of sorts too. Maybe she uses some sort of illusion to make people not notice them, which in turn could be what is making them feel spooked. On the actual art, I really like the changing in the final frame. You really convey the calm puzzlement in finally getting some answers but recieving an even greater load of questions in exchange.
