really, they just love to hype up around any scandal or threat possible and run with it until they either terrify everyone on the planet. or the public stops caring.

also, by page layout. I don’t mean comic page layout. I mean that I was laying out a web page for the site that would show pricing and examples for commissioning pictures and so on, but it was flat out unreadable. ie, wall of text rather then spaced out in bullet points.
Well, Tolka beat me to it, but to reiterate: all TV news is like this. It has been pretty much since the advent of the 24-hour news channel, when the news stopped being an extra feature on an existing channel and started having to compete for ratings with actual shows – they create panics to keep viewers tuned in. Issues vary by network, but the basic behavior remains the same.
Anyway, this was hilarious; I usually get a chuckle out of Spiderwebs, but this is, I think, the first time I actually laughed out loud at it. Nicely done!

News is stupid and full of lies, which is why I usually ignore it – it has historically been the tool of the Ruling classes to manipulate the proletariat into certain behaviour patterns. Journalists of Radio, TV and Print/Internet seem to think that we believe them when they say they are Agents of Truth, how can they when they are so obviously tools of the Hate-mongering, war crazy nut jobs that other people through laziness, ignorance and manipulation by that same media have voted in to misrule us under the misnomer of Government?

Well the news media is unreliable as usual. So the subject’s new namne is Luna Faust, sounds fitting. Agreed with Sarah, i think the subject traded overemphasizing one fenimine aspect for another. Not really a trade that worked at all in the being more manly sentiments favor.

I don’t live in the USA, so I rather deal with the propaganda of the local mainstream medias over here. But I hear and read things about others as well, like FoxNews being always at the front when it comes to get democratic politicans being bashed and spreading mudd about them. Or like this station heated the public mood into the “right” direction about the upcoming war in Afghanistan and Iraq. I see clips, where the hosts tell crap about atheists.

I remember hearing once that the USA courts said news agencies don’t have to tell the truth in the news. When I was in the states I found Fox News funny as hell; in New Zealand that wouldn’t even be allowed to be called news.
